Metro Health Receives Healthcare Marketing Report Awards

Metro Health has received four awards for marketing communications surrounding the 2007 move to its new hospital. Metro Health was recognized by Healthcare Marketing Report, a leading industry trade journal, in four separate categories in its annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, including:

  • Special event: Silver award for a series of open houses to introduce the community to the new hospital
  • Employee communications: Silver award for a specially created grassroots packet give to all 2,200 physicians and employees to help spread the word about the new hospital. The kit featured a yard sign, window clings, fact sheet and other information designed to help employees share the story of the move
  • Newspaper advertising: Bronze award for an ad campaign titled "Introducing Your New Metro Health Hospital"
  • Web site: Merit recognition for the new corporate web site

The awards annually recognize excellence in healthcare advertising and communications in a broad range of categories. Now in its 25th year, the Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest and largest awards competition for the industry. More than 4,400 entries were submitted for consideration.

Metro Health has also received an award for a video produced in conjunction with its 2007 move into the new LEED-certified hospital in Wyoming.
