Mark VanderJagt Appointed to Director of Compensation

Mark VanderJagt has been appointed director of compensation of Metro Health.
VanderJagt, who joined the organization in May 1992, will be responsible for administration of the organization’s 403b retirement plan, the defined benefit pension plan, compensation and job descriptions. He will have responsibility in all areas, including employee, physician and consulting on executive compensation. His prior position with Metro Health was that of director of finance.
"Mark has been a strong Metro Health supporter and has played a key role in managing the organization’s financial resources," said Floyd Wilson, Jr., executive vice president of human resources of Metro Health. "In his new role as director of compensation, he and I will work closely together to ensure that Metro Health continues to offer employees a competitive compensation package."
VanderJagt has more than 17 years of financial management experience. Prior to joining Metro Health, he worked in the sales tax department of Amway Corporation.
Active in the community, VanderJagt has worked with Habitat for Humanity and various Jenison school functions. He is also a member of MMGMA, MGMA and HFMA.
