Kim Hysell has been named chair of Metro Health Hospital’s Professional Nursing Council.
Hysell, a registered nurse who works in the post anesthesia care unit, will serve a one-year term as PNC chairperson. The PNC is responsible for supporting the direction of nursing practice, including developing patient education materials, quality improvement projects and facilitating projects that lead to improved patient care and patient satisfaction.
Hysell joined Metro Health in 1978. She holds a bachelor of science in nursing.
