Metro Health Receives Marketing, Design Awards for New Campaign
Posted: June 24, 2013
Metro Health Hospital has received marketing and design awards for its new advertising campaign, “Your Health, Our Passion.”
The award-winning leader in community healthcare has received:
- Bronze award for “Total Ad Campaign with TV” from Healthcare Marketing Report
- Merit awards for “Newspaper series” and “Special video,” also from Healthcare Marketing Report
- Gold award for “Billboard design” from Aster Awards
- Silver award for its emergency room billboards from Aster Awards
The campaign, which includes print, outdoor, television and radio, is part of a recent rebranding effort to position Metro Health providers as passionate about the care they provide patients.
“This passion is evidenced by the relationships between providers and patients,” said Jamie Barendsen, director of marketing at Metro Health. “The campaign highlights patients and their stories of how a Metro Health physician helped them return to good health.”
Healthcare Market Report annually recognizes excellence in healthcare advertising and communications in a broad range of categories. Now in its 30th year, the Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest and largest awards competition for the industry. Nearly 4,000 entries were submitted for this year’s awards.
Aster Awards is a medical marketing awards program allowing healthcare organizations and advertising agencies to compete against similarly sized competitors from across the nation and world. Each year the Aster Awards holds an annual contest allowing entries designed, printed or distributed the previous year to be scored, judged and recognized for excellence in healthcare marketing and advertising.
