Business Support Associate – Radiology

Full-time position available working 3 p.m. – 11:30 pm, Monday –Friday. This multifaceted position’s primary responsibility will be assisting the radiology dept. with customer service issues. Billing and Reimbursement Specialist – Customer Service Specialist

Full time position working 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday in the MSO. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to answering customer service billing questions, verification of insurance coverage and benefits, claim re-submission, problem identification and resolution. Additional responsibilities include accurate payment posting including credit card processing and on-line bill pay follow-up. The goal is to assure prompt, accurate resolution of all patient calls/concerns. Requirements include a high school diploma with two years experience working in an accredited hospital or physicians office; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong oral and written communication skills.

 

Inpatient Charge Entry Specialist

Full time position working 1st shift weekdays in the MSO. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely entry of inpatient charges for MSO clients. Responsibilities include daily charge entry, verifying charge entry integrity, communicating with providers to clarify procedures, monitoring patient census, and maintaining logs to ensure all charges are captured. Requirements include a high school diploma and strong written and oral communication skills. Qualified candidates must have a CPC or CCSP or a minimum of 2 years experience in a medical office setting doing demographics and pediatrics/internal medicine inpatient charge entry. Working knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/ICD9 codes and modifiers is required.

 

Billing and Reimbursement Coordinator

Full time first shift opportunity. The Billing and Reimbursement Coordinator acts as a key resource regarding billing and reimbursement issues. Medicare Compliance Specialist

Two part-time opportunities available in the Patient Registration Department. Both are 12 hours/week with available hours of:
1. Mon,Tues,Weds 8:00am – 12:00pm
2. Mon 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm Thurs, Fri 8:00am – 12:00pm with shift rotation.
The Medicare Compliance Specialists will work directly on the patient floor with Medicare patients who are admitted to the hospital. Responsibilities include informing the Medicare beneficiary or their legal representative of their discharge and appeal rights. This person will meet strict compliance standards set forth by the government and be responsible to monitor and document delivery of this notice to ensure compliance. Qualified candidates must process excellent communication skills, customer service skills and have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel. Requirements include high school graduate, college or business school desired. Previous working experience and knowledge of Medicare preferred.
