Nurse Supervisor/Shift Administrator

Part-time day shift opportunity for 24/7 Nursing Supervisor/ Shift Administrator of the hospital. Responsible for coordination of all inpatient placements to appropriate IP units, manages variability of unit occupancy and nurse staffing. Additional duties include quality improvement activities as assigned, patient advocate for nursing complaints/grievances, falls, etc. This position reports to the Nurse Supervisor Coordinator. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with RN licensure, ACLS certification, demonstrated leadership ability, and 2 years experience as a front-line manager coupled with 3 years clinical nursing experience.

 

Talent Management Director

Full-time opportunity available. The Director of Talent Management is responsible for research, design, communication, and administration of progressive talent management planning. This position will ensure that future educational programs support the growth strategy and business objectives of Metro Health. Qualified candidates must posses effective leadership and communication skills. Requirements include Bachelor’s Degree with SPHR/PHR plus 7 to 10 years of advanced knowledge in relevant field. A Masters Degree preferred. Position will be reporting to the Executive Vice President of Human Resources.

 

Corporate and Foundation Relations Director

Full-time opportunity in Metro Health’s Foundation. Responsibilities will include securing gifts, grants, and sponsorship funding from corporations, foundations and government sources. Researching, planning, development and supporting the grant application process and directing the grants management functions. The Corporate and Foundation Relations Director will be pro-actively identifying and communicating the appropriate foundation, corporate and government funding sources to support Metro Health’s strategic funding priorities. A significant amount of time will be spent on development of strong relationships with corporate, foundation and governmental funders, as well as with medical staff, management, and employees. The Corporate and Foundation Relations Director will participation with strategy design, the development of immediate and long-range plans for the Foundation and for corporate, foundation and governmental sources. Experience in established network of local and national funders and grant professionals desired. Knowledge of and experience working with funding sources and a proven track record in securing funding from federal/state, foundation and corporate sources is preferred.

 

Chemistry Technical Specialist

Full-time supervisory opportunity. Hours are Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 pm. The Chemistry Technical Specialist is responsible for the supervision and coordination of day to day activities in the chemistry section. Requirements include Bachelor of Science or Bachelor’s of Arts degree and current MT certification (ASCP, AMT or NCA) and a minimum of three years supervisory experience.

 

Medical Director of Specialty Services

Metro Health Hospital is recruiting a specialty physician for the position of Medical Director of Specialty Services. The ideal candidate must be board certified in a specialty and have previous experience in medical staff leadership. Past involvement in medical administrative functions is preferred. The Medical Director would be a half time administrative position and is expected to continue to practice in his/her specialty. The Medical Director would report directly to the Executive Vice President/COO of Metro Health Hospital.
