Switchboard Supervisor

Metro Health Hospital has a full-time opportunity working 1st shift. The Switchboard Supervisor will be responsible for directing supervision of personnel to ensure efficient and effective operations and communications for the Service Request Center. Duties to include training Switchboard Operators, Dispatch Operators, and Service Center Clerks on all Service Request Center operations & systems. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, medical terminology, proven computer skills, prior switchboard experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.


Distribution Attendant

Part-time opportunity in the Storeroom. Available hours are 7 pm -7 am on Saturday, Sunday, and one day during the week. Responsibilities include inventory and stocking of supply carts, taking orders, answering phones, delivering medical supplies and patient care equipment, and delivering and picking up linen. Requirements include a high school graduate or equivalent, knowledge of Windows computer software, and the ability to multi-task. Previous hospital storeroom experience preferred. Full-time opportunity working 7 am to 4 pm. Responsibilities to include transporting patients between departments, accompanying ambulatory patients between departments, operating portable oxygen during transport, transporting records, specimens, supplies and equipment between departments, and stocking linens and supplies. Facilities Services Technician

Part-time opportunities available in the Environmental Services Department. Hours vary, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. including weekend rotations. This position is responsible for janitorial, floor care, cleaning corridors, patient rooms, and offices, and participating in safety and competency training programs. Requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of basic maintenance mechanic tools, basic computer skills, and the ability to work extended hours including evenings/weekends.
