Fore! Our Community Golf Scramble
Metro’s Germs Away! Program is a proud partner of this year’s Fore! Our Community Golf Scramble. The Germs Away! Program works to prevent childhood illnesses such as influenza and colds. Trained medical professionals teach children about the importance of hand hygiene, the difference between bacteria and viruses, and how medicines work. Feelin’ Grand 2013
Sick, hurting and scared, more than 35,000 children are entrusted to our care every year. Last year Metro Health’s Child Life Program–and in turn, these young patients–was the beneficiary of Feelin’ Grand. View photos of the event here. Hope & Healing Luncheon 2013
Our annual Hope & Healing luncheon hosted on April 30, 2013 was a record breaking success, with nearly 400 people in attendance. Guests heard from patients, including a live testimony from Diane Ignatovitch who spoke of the day her husband Fred, 46. collapsed of a heart attack at her son’s baseball game. All together nearly $130,000 was committed-the most ever at this luncheon! Thank you to all guests, donors, sponsors and table hosts who made this event an overwhelming success.
