Metro Health makes expert care easy by providing convenient care for students and faculty at the GVSU Campus Health Center. Count on us for general medical care, including immunizations, women’s health services and physical exams.
We accept all major health insurance plans and we’ll bill your insurance. A large majority of our patients are insured by Blue Care Network. If you have not chosen one of the Metro Health physicians as your primary care provider, please call your current provider, as you will need a prior authorization before being seen.
The center is under the water tower, just south of Laker Village. You can schedule appointments or just walk in.

Primary Care Provider Options:
Please note: Additional appointments are available at our Metro Health Allendale primary care office just two miles west of Grand Valley. Students who wish to get established with a primary care physician are welcome to call for an appointment. The center provides X-rays, ultrasound, physical therapy, mammography, sports medicine, and more. This option is highly recommended for students who would like to have a long term provider while studying at Grand Valley.
