Emily Gerardy, PA-C
Emily is a graduate of Grand Valley State University’s Physician Assistant Program with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies. Before joining Metro Health, Emily spent several years in urgent care and internal medicine. She is a member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Gerrit Kleyn, PA-C
Gerrit is a graduate of Grand Valley State University’s Physician Assistant Program with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies. He has been with Metro Health for eight years, working at Metro Health Southwest in Wyoming and at the GVSU Campus Health Center. His specialization is in family practice medicine. Gerrit is a member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
 

Mary O’Brien, FNP
Mary O’Brien is a certified family nurse practitioner with a BSN from the University of Pittsburgh, an MS from the University of Michigan, and an MBA from Indiana State University.  She worked in a variety of critical care settings as an RN, taught in four universities, and developed her own clinical consulting business prior to completing the post master’s NP program at GVSU.  She worked for Metro Hospital before joining Pentwater Family Practice.  She returns to Metro Health as an FNP at the GVSU Campus Health Center.  She is a member of several state and national organizations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honor Society.
