Larry Diaz, MD, FACC
Interventional Cardiologist
A graduate of the Universidad Central de Venezuela, Dr. Larry Diaz completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He also completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Board certified in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology, Dr. Diaz specializes in providing a full range of diagnostic and preventive cardiac services with a special interest in coronary and peripheral interventions.
Barbara Karenko, DO
Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Barbara Karenko is a graduate of Michigan State University and MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an interventional/endovascular medicine cardiology fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. She also completed a general cardiology fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey. A native of Ypsilanti, she completed her medical residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, MI. Dr. Karenko is board certified in general cardiology and internal medicine and has a special interest women’s health, preventative medicine, and interventional cardiology/peripheral vascular disease.
John A. Key, DO

A graduate of Albion College and Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri, Dr. John Key completed his internship at Metro Health Hospital, followed by a residency at St. Vincent Hospital & Health Care Center in Indianapolis and a cardiology fellowship at Sinai Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Key is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He specializes in providing a full range of diagnostic, preventive and cardiac treatment services.

Paul J. Kovack, DO

Dr. Paul Kovack is a graduate of Michigan State University and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Metro Health Hospital, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills. Dr. Kovack is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. He has a special interest in treating congestive heart failure and hypertension. 
J.A. Mustapha, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Director of Endovascular Intervention
Dr. J.A. Mustapha is a graduate of Wayne State University and St. George University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Saint Mary’s Health Care, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Dr. Mustapha is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He has a special interest and expertise in peripheral vascular disease.

Fadi Saab, MD, FACC, FASE
Interventional Cardiologist
A graduate of the University of Damascus School of Medicine, Dr. Fadi Saab completed his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University. He completed a cardiology outcome research fellowship at the University of Michigan and a non-invasive cardiology fellowship at St. John Hospital, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at Tufts University School of Medicine/Baystate Medical Center. Dr. Saab is board certified in cardiovascular medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and internal medicine. He specializes in providing a full range of diagnostic and preventive cardiac services with a special interest in coronary and peripheral interventions.
Matthew W. Sevensma, DO

A graduate of Hope College and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Matthew Sevensma completed his internship and residency at Metro Health Hospital, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills. Dr. Sevensma is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular disease and is heart-rhythm-society certified. He has a special interest in preventive cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac CT and pacemaker/defibrillation implantation.

Director of Cardiology Fellowship Program
and Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Eric Walchak is a graduate of Michigan State University and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Walchak completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Ingham Regional Medical Center in Lansing. Dr. Walchak is board certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, interventional peripheral vascular disease and general peripheral vascular disease. He specializes in providing a full range of diagnostic and preventive cardiac services with a special interest in coronary and peripheral interventions.
