The laboratory at Metro Health Hospital plays a key role in the detection of illness and prevention of disease. Our experienced staff provides caregivers with clinical information to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The lab also helps monitor the administration of therapeutic medications. Patients needing lab tests will find lab services conveniently located just inside the front doors of Metro Health Hospital between the registration desk and the Panopoulos Imaging Center.

The laboratory is staffed with board-certified pathologists and all supervisors, section leaders and testing personnel meet the required qualifications for performing laboratory tests. All are certified and many hold advanced degrees. Every member of our team makes accuracy, efficiency and patient satisfaction their priorities.
