Meet Our Team

Our physicians are conveniently located at the Metro Health Ophthalmology office in Metro Health Village, the campus surrounding Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming. They are also available to see patients certain days of the week at Metro Health Rockford. You can call (616) 252-5710 to make an appointment at either site.

Our doctors perform eye surgeries at both Metro Health Hospital and the Southwest Surgical Center in Byron Center. Click here for a map to all of our locations.

Please note that Metro Health Ophthalmology accepts most major medical insurance plans, but we do not participate in vision plans. If you have questions about whether we accept your particular plan, please check with our office. You will be responsible for any deductible, co-payment or non-covered expenses at the time of service.

Metro Health Ophthalmology is also home to the Metro Health Ophthalmology residency program. Residents offer our full list of services under the supervision of an experienced, board-certified ophthalmologist. Michael L. Keil, DO, is the director of the ophthalmology residency program at Metro Health.
