Metro Health Allendale recently received the New Business of the Year award from the Allendale Area Chamber of Commerce.
Recognizing that new businesses are the mainstay of any community, the award recognizes a business new to Allendale in 2009 that has made a significant impact on the business community. Additionally, the new business must demonstrate strong community involvement, meet a need lacking in the current community and show initiative to improve the business climate for the future.
Metro Health Allendale opened its doors on June 1, the 12th in a network of neighborhood outpatient centers. The Allendale facility is located at 11160 W.J. Presley Parkway, Suite 100, in Allendale and offers family practice, sports medicine, mammography, X-ray, ultrasound and physical therapy services on an outpatient basis.
"We are very pleased to have been recognized as the New Business of the Year by the Allendale Chamber," said Dr. Frank Belsito, chief operating officer and vice president of Metro Health Enterprises. "Our neighborhood outpatient center in this community has been able to improve the availability and delivery of healthcare services in the six months that it has been open. We look forward to serving the Allendale community for years to come."
