Metro Health Hospital has received an Excellence Through Insight award in three categories from HealthStream® Research for its commitment to excellence in patient care.
Metro Health was recognized for Overall Emergency Department Satisfaction, Overall Outpatient Satisfaction and Overall Inpatient Satisfaction for medium-sized hospitals, as well as most improved overall outpatient satisfaction. Additionally, three units were recognized for their overall satisfaction score: Inpatient – Med-Surg, Outpatient – Lab and Outpatient Radiology/Imaging. Metro Health was chosen for receiving the highest ratings in the above categories, as well as exceeding industry standards.
Out of more than 1,100 healthcare facilities in the HealthStream Research database, fewer than 4 percent received awards. With seven awards, Metro Health was recognized more times than any other facility.
