Congestive Heart Failure Support Group
This support group is designed for those who have a diagnosis of congestive heart failure. Along with group support of other community members who share the same diagnosis, we will offer experts to speak on a variety of topics. This group meets on Tuesdays every other month to help you and your loved one cope and manage CHF.

Tobacco Free for Good can help you deal with triggers, weight control, withdrawal symptoms, daily stress and preventing set-backs. Six week program, meets seven times.

Anger Management
$70 individuals & $105/two family members
Four class series, fees due at first session
Mental health professional Jim Bottenhorn, MA, LLP, will teach participants the difference between the emotions of anger and aggression and explore the factors that influence anger. Learn to recognize warning signs, develop new ways to respond to feelings of anger and communicate feelings in a productive manner.

Family Bonds Cancer Support Group

Metro Health and Gilda’s Club offer this special support group for cancer patients and their family and friends. After sharing a meal, the two groups will meet separately for thoughtful discussions led by experienced social workers.┬áThis free program is open to people with all types of cancer at all stages of the journey, whether currently in treatment or not. You don’t have to be a Metro Health patient to participate.

This is a free program that teaches beauty techniques to female cancer patients who are in active treatment to help combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
