Thank you for your interest in our program. We welcome you and greatly encourage medical students interested in the Metro Health Orthpaedic Residency Program to participate in a fourth year orthopaedic rotation.
Before learning more about the orthopaedic residency, please read this welcome message from Dr. William Schwab, Orthopaedic Residency program director.
Interviews will be held on a Saturday in the fall of 2016. You will have an opportunity to meet all of the residents and interview with several faculty. An informal dinner will be held on Friday night, prior to your interview day. This will be with the residents and is a chance to get to know us an relax before the big day. These events are optional.
Residency Application Requirements:
All applications must come through ERAS. A mean COMLEX scores for interviewed applicants has been 550 or above, passed on the first attempt. A minimum of three letters of recommendation is required, with a minimum of one orthpaedic letter of recommendation.
Deadline for all ERAS applications is October 15 of each year.
