Metro Way 5K/10K & Family Fun Run
Run for Fun with Metro Health
Metro Health’s annual Metro Way 5K is one of our most popular family fun community events, drawing people from all over West Michigan to Metro Health Village!
Everyone is invited to join us – we welcome all ages and abilities: walkers, beginning runners, children and even stroller-pushing parents, in addition to myTEAM TRIUMPH participants and seasoned runners.
Whether you want to set a new personal goal, beat your personal best time, add a new challenge to your exercise routine or just get the kids off the couch and away from the TV, this is the event for you!
Every year, we kick off the evening with free kids races at 6 pm for children ages 3-14 – all the kids get an award for finishing. Awards for the 5K include Overall Male/Female & 3 Deep Male/Female by Age Group. This year, we’re pleased to announce that we’ve also added a new 10K race for more experienced participants. (Watch for details!)
We are happy to announce that Shelley Irwin from the WGVU Morning Show will be our guest emcee again! You can learn more about Shelley by visiting her Facebook page.
Mark your calendar for Thursday, July 28, 2016, and plan to join us for fun, food and festivities at the Metro Way 5K/10K & Family Fun Run!
