Metro Way 5k Training Programs
Metro Health’s goal is to get people in our community up and active. The Metro Way 5K Family Fun Run makes exercise fun for everyone – regardless of your age or ability.
The training schedule incorporates a mix of running, walking and resting. Using this schedule, even runners spend a portion of their training walking. We’ve also scheduled in “rest days” three times a week; giving your muscles time to recover. Just stick to the program and you should be all set to run, walk, hop, roll or skip to the finish line.
