  • COVID-19 Response Fund

West Michigan’s response to COVID-19 disease proves that difficult times can bring out the best in our community. At the Metro Health Hospital Foundation, we have been amazed and inspired by the offers of support from people who want to do their part.

We know you want to help. Even though safety precautions limit the ability to provide hands-on assistance, you can still support our healthcare efforts in two ways: through financial contributions or by donating crucial supplies. In gratitude for your community spirit, we are providing details below.

On behalf of our tireless and courageous healthcare workers, the patients they serve, and from all of us at the Metro Health Hospital Foundation, thank you for your support at all times, including at this challenging moment. We will get through this challenge just as we always have – by working together.

By contributing to the Metro Health Hospital Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund, you support employees facing COVID-19-related hardships and help equip our caregivers with crucial supplies to safely and successfully care for patients during our response to COVID-19.

To make a secure, online gift, please visit & select “COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund” from the drop down to designate your donation.

Or, you can send a check to the Foundation at the address listed below. Please include “COVID-19 Emergency Response” on the memo line.

We have consulted with our medical experts to compile a list of supplies that will help in our fight against COVID-19. With a national shortage of these supplies, we are grateful for whatever our community is able to contribute.

    Unused/Unopened Personal Protection Equipment:

    • N95 Masks
    • Isolation masks (adult/child)
    • Hand-sewn masks*
    • Face shields
    • Goggles/safety glasses
    • Bouffant caps
    • Extended extra protection gloves (all sizes)
    • Isolation gowns

    Additional Supplies:

    • Bleach wipes

    * We are actively requesting hand sewn masks for our non-patient facing staff members and visitors. We are also in need of hand sewn masks to build our supply in the event we exhaust use of all medical grade masks. Click here for instructions on how to make your hand sewn mask.
