Bradley J. Clegg, DO, MMM

Chief Medical Information Officer

Passionate about improving healthcare through the use of informatics, Dr. Clegg is known as an early adopter and supporter of electronic medical records. He led the deployment of Epic ambulatory and impatient medical records at Metro Health, as well as Zynx Orders. Today, he is helping lead Epic Systems optimization throughout Metro Health and across the continuum of care. Dr. Clegg collaborated with the CIO, CEO, CMO and others to develop the Clinical Decision Support department. Dr. Clegg is a strong supporter of empowering patients to use MyChart patient portal to engage in their own healthcare and in providing evidence-based care to his and all Metro Health Patients.

Dr. Clegg was a founding member of Metro Health MSO and on the founding boards of Metro Health PO and PHO. He currently serves on the State of Michigan’s Health Information Exchange Board – Great Lakes Health Connect.

Dr. Clegg led Metro physicians in the first group of primary care physicians to qualify for NCQA Recognition of Excellence in Diabetes.
