  • Admission Criteria

To be considered for admission to the Metro Health Assisted Breathing Center you, or your loved one, must:

    • Require daily ventilator assistance (at least 6 out of every 24 hours)
    • Be medically cleared by our professional staff
    • Have prior approval for admission to our program from your insurance carrier or reimbursement agent

An admissions coordinator will help evaluate your needs and identify how we can help and assist you.  Together, we’ll decide if the Metro Health Assisted Breathing Center is the right place for you or your loved one.

If you or your loved one will be admitted, we’ll schedule an admission date for as soon as there is availability in the Center and we’ll make transfer arrangements.
