Metro Health Announces Board Changes

To better meet the needs of its growing healthcare operations, Metro Health has announced a change to its board structure.

The regional healthcare organization has split its current 18-member board into two boards. The Metro Health Hospital Board will now provide oversight to the day-to-day operations of the hospital while the Metropolitan Health Corporation Board will guide the operations of the parent corporation, including its employed physician group, the MidTowne Surgery Center, University of Michigan partnerships, Pennant Health Alliance collaborations and related strategic growth initiatives.

Directors currently serving on the board will continue their terms on one or both boards. The new boards will include:
