Contact Us

For children of any age, a visit to the hospital, even a routine visit, can feel stressful. We understand. From pre-surgical tours, to emotional support, to toys and games at the bedside, our goal is to make your child’s visit to Metro Health easier and less scary.

Our Child Life Specialists are here to support patients from infant up to 18 years of age in a family-centered environment where patients, their siblings and caregivers can interact and find healing.

We encourage you to talk with a Child Life Specialist if you have questions about a patient, or his or her siblings. They also offer support to children of adult patients who are struggling with the impact of hospitalization within the family.
