    It’s finally time to take your new family member home! From newborn care to breastfeeding support, Metro Health has a variety of resources to help you prepare for taking your baby home:

    • Newborn Care: Resources and expertise to get you and your baby started on your journey, including the benefits of skin-to-skin contact, access to lactation consultants and other services to help you bring your baby home.
    • Breastfeeding Support: This group provides free, on-going support for breastfeeding moms and babies and is led by a Lactation Consultant.
    • Maternal postpartum care: The first several weeks after childbirth are an important time as you get to know your baby and your body recovers from delivery and adjusts to no longer being pregnant.
