Physician Burnout – Metro University Speaker Series

Dr. Roger Smith, Assistant Dean for Graduate Medical Education and Professor of Clinical Biological Sciences at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, will address the physical and mental collapse caused by overwork or stress that we are ALL at risk of suffering.

At the close of this discussion the involved learner should be able to;

  1. Describe the causes of professional burnout
  2. List common symptoms associated with professional burnout
  3. Implement a healthy strategy to minimize the impact of stress and avoid burnout.
