Gov. Rick Snyder Appoints Metro Health Physician to State Board of Osteopathic Medicine
Cory, along with Kathleen Kudray of Flint, are the governor’s two new appointments to the 11-member board, which sets entry-level competency requirements and verifies continuing medical education during licensure for about 8,000 osteopathic doctors.
“I thank Kathleen and Jennifer for their willingness to serve,” Snyder said. “These appointees bring a strong skillset to the board, and I am confident they will work to ensure the effectiveness of our state’s osteopaths.”
Cory provides comprehensive care for adult patients, including diabetes management, a wide variety of testing services and women’s health services. She practices at Metro Health Internal Medicine in the Health Park Building. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Colorado and her doctorate from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City. She completed her residency at Metro Health.
A native of Colorado, Cory currently resides in East Grand Rapids with her husband, Dr. Andrew Behler, and their children.
