James Dupree Named Best of Metro
While working on the fifth floor, James has earned a reputation for delivering the Best Patient Experience. “James has a wonderful, easy going personality that handles every person with kindness, politeness and patience,” explains his nomination form. “I have seen James in many trying situations and he always keeps his smile on.”
For James, delivering the Best Patient Experience means going the extra mile and taking care of a patient’s needs by working together as a team. James also works hard to deliver the Best Employee Experience. “To me, providing the Best Employee Experience is taking the time to talk to the people that we pass in the halls every day and get to know them as a person,” he explains.
When asked about a favorite Metro memory, James thought about an opportunity he had to make somebody’s day better. “My favorite Metro memory would have to be the look on a guest’s face when it was their birthday and I told them I would pay for their lunch,” he said. “The simple fact that I have the opportunity to make so many people’s day creates good memories every time I come to work.”
For James, being recognized by his peers as the Best of Metro is a great achievement. “It’s huge to me because it shows that whether you realize it or not, people notice the way you treat others,” he said. “I am truly thankful for this and for every single person who was a part of me getting this award.”
