Surveyed and awarded Primary Stroke Center certification from the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) for meeting applicable HFAP certification requirements. (Accreditation effective 2013 – 2015)

Recognition Award from the Michigan Stroke Registry and Quality Improvement Program for Metro Health Hospital’s Commitment to Improving the Delivery of Stroke Care in Michigan (2012)

Surveyed and awarded Primary Stroke Center Certification Program by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP). HFAP uses recommendations from the Brain Attack Coalition as the foundation for its standards and endorses the use of the American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines as a tool for patient management and performance measures. (Accreditation effective 20/11 – 2013)
