Providing Expertise in Thoracic Surgery
Thoracic surgery is used to treat conditions involving the organs in your chest or in your chest wall itself. The most common diseases that require thoracic surgery are heart lesions, lung cancer, chest trauma, esophageal cancer and emphysema. Your primary care physician, cardiologist, pulmonologist or gastroenterologist will refer you to a thoracic surgeon if he or she thinks you need this type of treatment.
Metro Health Thoracic Surgery is located in Suite 160A of the Metro Health Professional Building. The Professional Building is attached to Metro Health Hospital, but has its own parking lot and separate entrance.
Metro Health Thoracic Surgery is a department of Metro Health Hospital.
