Metro Health Welcomes Two New Cardiologists
Metro Health Hospital has announced that two cardiologists have joined its growing team of cardiovascular specialists.
Dr. Rony D. Gorges and Dr. Ali A. Saab have joined Metro Heart & Vascular, a nationally recognized expert team of cardiovascular specialists who provide diagnostic and preventive care as well as treat emergent conditions. They will both practice at Metro Health Hospital in Wyoming. Additionally, Gorges will see patients at Metro Heart & Vascular in Holland and downtown Grand Rapids and Saab will see patients in Allegan.
Gorges is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and vascular ultrasound. He is a registered physician in vascular interpretation and has a special interest in invasive and noninvasive imaging as well as pacemaker implantation.
Gorges earned his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at St. John Providence Hospital Southfield. Gorges also completed a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the St. John Providence Heart Institute.
A native of Southeast Michigan, Gorges now resides in Ada with his wife, Chanel and their two children.
Saab earned his medical degree from Des Moines University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Saab also completed a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
A native of Lebanon, Saab now resides in Ada with his wife, Ceila.
