Opioid Crisis Initiatives

On December 27, 2017, the State of Michigan created new rules to help the opioid overdose situation. This may change the type of pain medicine you receive in the future, and how your care will be delivered. We at Metro Health – University of Michigan Health are working with staff in Lansing to better understand these changes and to make sure your care is at the highest level possible. We will update you on these changes as we receive details.
