Diagnosing and Treating Rheumatic Diseases

Rheumatic diseases are painful conditions usually caused by inflammation, swelling and pain in the joints, muscles or bones. They include osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lupus, tendonitis and back pain. Many are not easily identified in their early stages.

Metro Health Rheumatology is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of these painful, sometimes debilitating, illnesses for both children and adults. Some musculoskeletal disorders respond best to treatment in the early stages of the disease. Our rheumatologists are well-equipped and specially-trained to work closely with you to correctly diagnose the problem and design an individualized treatment program.
