  • Sleep Disorder Treatment Equipment

After a sleep study, your sleep physician can diagnose a sleep disorder.  If Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) is the treatment your physician determines is the best for you, you will need to choose a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company to obtain and help care for your machine.

Insurance companies often give you a list of preferred providers.  Choosing one of YOUR insurance company’s providers will be the most cost effective option.  However, you may select any DME you wish.  To determine which DME is covered by your provider, please call the customer service phone number on the back of your insurance card and request a list of “preferred providers for DME.”

There are several local companies that will provide you with proper instructions on the use and care of your PAP device and supplies.  They will also be able to assist you should you have any questions or problems with your equipment.
